From Gettysburg to Vicksburg, there were many battles of the Civil War. It was definitely not a one-sided war, as both the North and the South were almost evenly matched in fighting skill. Though the South was greatly outnumbered, they fought hard against the North and succeeded in beating them time and time again. Some historians say if the South had won at Gettysburg, they probably would have won the war.
